What Should I Do After My HydraFacial?
No chemical peels or laser skin treatments should be done for two weeks following your HydraFacial treatment.One Day After Treatment● For the first 24 hours after your treatment, avoid heat. Take a lukewarm shower or bath rather than a steaming hot one. Refrain from performing intense cardio or going for a personal best deadlifting. It would be best if you also refrain from unwinding in a sauna. Finally do not apply makeup on the day of your treatment.
Two Days After Treatment● During the first 48 hours after your treatment session, you should still avoid using any product containing tretinoin. You must also refrain from exfoliating treatment, waxing, and using depilatories during this period. Finally, do not use over-the-counter acne medications for the first two days after treatment.
Three Days After Treatment● You must protect your skin from sun damage for the first three to five days after your treatment. This treatment gently removes the top layers of dead skin cells. This exposes a layer of fresh, healthy skin cells that are more vulnerable than the older skin you have had removed.● During your initial consultation, we will evaluate your skin tone based on the Fitzpatrick scale to determine the level of protection you need after treatment.● Limit the time your face is exposed to the sun between 10 AM and 2 PM, and avoid tanning beds for the first 72 hours after treatment.
